Guidelines on handle formatting, verification standards, prohibited names, and moderation protocols to keep the board authentic.
Permitted Handles
Users may list social handles from Instagram, Twitter/X, Twitch, YouTube, Reddit, and GitHub. All submitted handles must follow the official formatting rules of their respective platforms.
Prohibited Listings
You may not bid for or list handles containing hate speech, offensive language, illegal services, pornography, trademarks you do not own, or handles designed to impersonate public figures or institutions.
Verification Requirements
While users can enter handles for a quick preview, verified ownership claims require completing the verified authorization flow. Listings that are flagged as fake, stolen, or misrepresentative may be hidden or permanently deleted.
Enforcement and Discretion
HandleBid moderators have sole discretion to review, block, or delete any listing. Repeat violations of the content policy will result in account suspension and permanent blacklisting of the handle.
